She urged African countries to rethink food production, processing and distribution because Africa has what it takes to be food and nutrition secure.
The exhibition on the AU theme of the year 2022 ("Strengthening Resilience in Nutrition and Food Security on the African Continent : Strengthening Agro- Food Systems, Health and Social Protection Systems for the Acceleration of Human") strategically positions local agro producers and suppliers to address the nutritional needs of their country and communities, provides climate smart solutions and affordable foods, and provides access to non-conventional sales channels.
