I spent three calm days in the Kamnik Alps. On my first day, I started from Kamniška Bistrica (600m), a scattered settlement along the headwaters of the Kamnik Bistrica River. Thanks to the (dirt) road conditions, it was possible to go up to the lower station of the cable car by car (900m).
After 2 hours of climbing, I reached the mountain house (Cojzova Koca), where I spent the nights in decent conditions. The staff is very friendly and the food was excellent. Thanks for everything!
On the second day, I climbed the peak of Kokrska Kocna (2520m). In the middle of the road, the path crosses a very exposed, steep grassy slope. The upper section of the road leading to the summit is covered with gravel, debris, and in places crumbling. Near the top, the rock is firmer.
Unfortunately, the peak was foggy when I was up there and due to the terrain, I didn't have the opportunity to film. All in all, this road is quite dangerous, scary in some places and exhausting, it's no wonder that not many people go there. Because of this, the path is hard to follow, and it is easy to get lost on the trail of the mountain goats. Always watch the road signs!
On the third day, I climbed Skuta Peak (2532m). Except for a short section, the road is easy to walk. The climbing is also easy on the exposed section, but you need to pay close attention, there is no room for mistakes.
To sum up I had a really great time.
