I shot this video on February 23, 2012. I love my beehive top feeder, that I bought from Brushy Mountain Beekeeping, but when I feed my bees sugar water they get all excited and fly out of the hive so I have to suit up. This simple modification allows me to get into my hives, feed the bees, with the bees not getting out. It has made feeding the bees very enjoyable. This also allows me to open the hive and let visitors see inside without them worrying about bees flying around. I also share why I feed my bees and why it is not necessary to feed bees.
