I have to admit, my skin loved the Clinique Moisture Surge moisturiser. It was a boon when I was struggling with dry patches, an oily T zone and acne - all at the same time!
Apart from the ingredients I mentioned, it also contains Thermus Thermophillus Ferment, a rare ingredient in moisturisers - which protects the skin and helps with firmness. The long-term hydration in it also comes from glycerin, birch bark and sodium hyaluronate and I have to admit - the hydration stays for hours and hours without feeling sticky or greasy.
This may not be for perhaps very oily skin or even very dry skin (may work for dry skin in the summer or in the daytime) but it’s that perfect consistency that works for the skin types that are somewhere in the middle, in my opinion.
