Puspa Warna is about the fragrance and beauty of flowers. Puspa = flower and Warna = colour or type. This dance was originally created by the late I Nyoman Kaler many years ago but was recently restored by current experts in the field in more recent years. This dance is very long at 15 minutes so the audience might not have a long enough attention span to watch it. I guess it becomes more like a pleasant background piece that can be used at events as a form of light entertainment. The movements aren't too difficult and the gamelan resembles tari tenun in parts. Other dances by Nyoman Kaler include Bayan Nginte and Candra Metu.
