Practicing dermatology in South Florida I see and treat a lot if sunburns on deeper skin tones! A sunburn 🔥looks and feels different on darker skin! Please wear and reapply sunscreen for prevention but here are some tips to know if this ever happens to you! ⚪️The affected area may not feel hot or painful ⚪️Darker skin may look dry and cracked instead of red ⚪️To prevent swelling, peeling and blisters think 💭CAVE C= Cold compress as soon as you notice the sunburn AV= Aloe Vera cream to soothe E= Emollients/ colloidal oats containing products to heal, calm and stop inflammation.
