A Sumter County teen who is autistic was found safely on Tuesday evening after missing for nearly 24 hours. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office said 16-year-old Peyton Pickard was located in neck-deep water by the Withlacoochee River, less than a mile from his home in Bushnell. He was reported missing from his house near County Road 575 and State Road 48 around Monday at 9 p.m.
