Rob heads to one of Embryo Angling’s newest venues, Baulking Lake in Oxfordshire. The 20-acre lake has an impressive stock of almost 600 carp with many over the 30lb mark.
As Rob had never set sights on the lake he made it his priority to get to the lake at first light and look for signs of activity. It didn’t take long for Rob to see the carp in a few different areas of the lake and with the warmer weather still present, Rob opted to fish in some slightly shallower depths.
Rob’s opening approach was to use tactics he knew would trigger a response. In this case, solid bags were the chosen method, packed full of attraction and a razor sharp Longshank hook was awaiting any passing carp on this late Autumn session.
In all, Rob had a hectic first trip to Baulking with several carp to over 20lbs. If you’re looking for a lake exclusive venue with your mates and are after plenty of bites then this is the film for you!
