The elbow should be bent at about a 90-degree angle and the Flick Lock (FL) easy adjust system gives you 20 cm of space to create a custom fit perfect for you, plus allows on-the-fly adjustment when you change slope angles or want to to use your pole for it's versatility, like as a tent post when camping.
