Here’s another, better POV wave of the 300 yard racetrack left at brooks street in Laguna Beach.
Today was a larger south swell. Went out in the morning on a low tide, which helps the wave break over the rock. Generally speaking, waves will break at the outer reef when the swell is 3ft or bigger, and when the tide is below two feet.
Despite getting the early jump on it, it was unusually crowded. There were about 20 people out at 8 am.
If you want to check it out, there is lots of parking along pch, cress street, and brooks street.
