If you play real golf..

Do you ever feel like your mental game
Is holding you back?

At the range can you knock balls 200 yards reliably
–and it goes where you want it??

But when you’re playing with your buddies
And $50 is on the line…

You fall apart. And at the worst possible moment.
I’ve been there.

I play mini golf a lot with my friend Matt for this channel,
Because it’s a fun game, and pretty easy.

Mini golf is a game.
Golf is a sport.

It requires so many things to go right
To even feel like you had a decent day.

You can have the best strokes in the world normally, but if your mind falls apart,
It’s over.

Back in high school, at the beginning of the year I felt pretty confident.
But used to get really nervous towards the end of the season.

One tournament I choked on the back 9, and lost miserably. 11 more strokes that round than usual.

I still think about what would have happened that day if I had my mental game.

My senior year I really worked on my strokes and practiced a lot,
And I read every psychology book I could get my hands on.

I improved my mental game more than anything that year, and we
Finished off the year as state champions.

I even joined the college team and won some tournaments in my 20’s.

I want the same for you. I want you to feel confident as soon as you
set foot on the grass.

If you want to be the best golfer you can be, and not crumble at the worst moments,
You HAVE to work on your mental game.

If you want to start playing at your peak performance,
-break 80
-or break 100
–or maybe beat your buddies

And really feel “in the zone”...
