In this video - taken in Mid-Winter (August) 2023 - I meet three friends at Great Mercury Island to explore all the Mercury Islands. Three guys left Takapuna and rode around Coromandel Peninsula (long ride!) to meet me there. Conditions were great. We explored the beautiful white beaches of Great Mercury and went on an adventure to find a sea-tunnel to a small cove on one of the smaller islands.
Another HIGHLY recommended ride. Great Mercury is a privately owned island, so please respect this and leave your footsteps only. I can only imagine how nice this area would be in Summer.
