Union Home Minister Amit Shah condemned the death of a Bharatiya Janata Party worker in Kolkata’s Chitpur-Cossipore area. Calling it “political murder”, Amit Shah demanded a CBI investigation into the incident.

The BJP worker, identified as Arjun Chourasiya, was found hanging from the ceiling of an abandoned building on Friday, May 6. He was slated to lead a bike rally to welcome Amit Shah, who is on two-day visit of West Bengal.

Condemning the incident, Amit Shah demanded strict against those responsible.
