Here's another method to black bar removal that simply involves adding a tag to your video! The tag you have to add is:
yt:stretch=16:9
But, this will only work if you uploaded a video with the aspect ratio 4:3, thus creating the black bars to fill YouTube's widescreen player.
If you rendered a widescreen (16:9) video from your computer and uploaded that to YouTube, this trick won't work because YouTube will think the black bars are part of the video.
So if your video has black bars on your computer, this won't work. But if your video doesn't have black bars on your computer but it does on YouTube, this trick should work.
Try it with some of your existing videos that have black bars.
