Suam na mais is very famous dish in northern part of the Philippines given on its wide land area which they can plant huge amount of corns. The corn are typically eaten after boiling in just water until tender, and served as a mirienda or alternative rice for someone whose in diet, but today, I’m gonna show you how to make it a soup dish that can be served as lunch or dinner for your family. This is best partnered with your favorite fried fish, so lets get started and taste it!
Ingredients:
1 kg white corn, grated
1/8 cups small dried shrimp
2 cups malunggay leaves
1 bulb garlic, minced
1 tbsp fish sauce
6 cups water
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
