2019 Ford Fiesta ST
Powerflex PFF19-2001 bush for rear motor mount.
Some notes:
- Roll restriction is worse without the additional inserts (middle video)
- Large bush with inserts and washers was a tight fit into Fiesta's frame. This tight fit transfers engine vibration into the cab.
- The stock mount presents an isolation point between the engine and the frame. This is not the case for a lot of aftermarket Rear Motor Mount or Roll Restrictor designs.
- Roll restriction for the full bush and insert (right video) is very similar to the stock mount. Probably the same.
- The design of the Powerflex side washers that rub against the poly-bush will squeak in the future.
I was looking for a bush which will give me a mildly better roll restriction without introducing vibrations (NVH). Even for this mild experiment, the vibration at idle was intolerable, especially with the AC on.
