A cup of coffee and a good book can be a nice way to start the day, and one Canberra primary school has made it a morning ritual in a bid to strengthen child-parent relationships and improve literacy.
Evatt Primary School has opened its own cafe, The Nest, where parents and carers can enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate and read to their children before classes begin.
