Ahead of the assembly elections in four states and 1 UT, a new phenomenon has now come to light, wherein for the tenth consecutive day, the price of petrol and diesel were kept unchanged across four metro cities. A political blame-game has now erupted over this move, and the opposition has lined this move to the impending elections in the four states. Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi spoke to Times Now and stated that this is yet another act by the GOI to ensure that their core constituents don't get hit. The misery of the common man is being misused here as the government changes/unchanged the price according to their own wishes, claims the opposition.
