Bangkok, Thailand is the quintessential paradise for foodies, with over 30 restaurants carrying Michelin Stars, and street food stalls bearing the Michelin Guide seal!
Right out the arrival gate, Sandy Daza leads you to the airport’s food court for his newest and favorite Hainanese Chicken discovery. From the airport, Sandy checks into the Conrad Bangkok Hotel and feast at Liu, the hotel’s award-winning Cantonese restaurant and seeks out the best mango sticky rice at the Kor Panich Sticky Rice, listed on the Michelin Guide and has been making the same recipe for over 90 years. Afterwards, he soaks in the view of the royal Chao Phraya River, and savor a traditional yet chic dinner at Horsamut Coastal Thai Cuisine.
The cravings for traditional Thai cuisine continues with Sandy braving the long line at the famous and Here Hai, also listed on the Michelin Guide and Khao, a semi-formal restaurant which has held a Michelin Star since 2014.
Finally, Sandy discovers a progressive Thai-Chinese cuisine at another Michelin Star restaurant called Potong, owned by Chef Pam Soontornyanakij, Asia’s Best Female Chef of 2024.
