(13 Sep 2019) A thick smog blanketed the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur again Friday.
Over a dozen locations nationwide remain with Air Pollution Index (API) readings recorded at unhealthy levels of 101 to 200.
Nearly every year, Indonesian forest fires spread health-damaging haze across the country and into neighbouring Malaysia and Singapore.
The Malaysian government has said it will press Jakarta to take immediate action to put out the burning forests and ensure the fires won't occur again.
