This radio was very kindly sent in as a gift from Alan with the intention of me sorting it out & passing it onto my friend Stewart.

No RF output was down to a duff RF output transistor, 2SC2075. This was replaced. After the tuneup, a faulty 470uV 16V capacitor was spotted & tested as open circuit. This was replaced & the SINAD reading instanty improved.
