Daniel Lloyd drove his West Coast Racing Volkswagen Golf TCR car to pole position for Sunday's (13th May) opening race. Lloyd posted a scorching time of 50.823secs to fend of local driver Aiden Moffat by just 0.251s.
The first of the TCR UK races starts at 10.25am and will see an open grid walk take place from 10.05am - which is free to all spectators. The second race of the day will take place at 14.24pm and will see Sean Walkinshaw lead from pole position.
Advanced (discounted) tickets for the event can be booked online until midnight tonight - subject to collection at the track tomorrow. Alternatively, tickets will be available on the gate throughout the event.
