Former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe says political interference in the work of iIEBC has rendered it dysfunctional. Speaking to the Daily Nation from New Jersey, Dr Akombe says theres no hope of IEBC conducting credible elections slated for Thursday the 26th. Dr Akombe believes that a click of secretariat staff led by CEO Ezra Chiloba whom she says misled the commissioners about iIEBC servers were responsible for the bungled august 8th elections. On Chiloba's leave, Akombe says, it comes a little too late, is of little significance and wont make the elections credible. The leave by Ezra Chiloba according to Akombe would have made sense soon after the supreme court ruling and recommendation by the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
