Some areas in your landscape can be tricky. We have a northern slope beneath the trees with very visible roots and many old stumps. It stays rather dry and has only dappled light. A perfect spot for a woodsy garden and a Stumpery. Most of the garden is established already, but needs a lot of cleanup, thinning and re-vamping. The existing plants in this garden were : Bee balm/ Daylily/ Iris/ Liriope/ Loosestrife (can be invasive)/ Dames ROcket/ Lemon Balm (beware!)
Plants I will be adding; Dianthus/ Rose of Sharon/ Lupine/ Butterfly bush/ bulbs, corms/Helebores.
