PRESS NOTE ON VISIT OF SRI CV ANAND IPS, COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, HYDERABAD CITY TO BHAROSA AND SHE TEAMS, HYDERABAD

Today i.e., on 27-01-2022, Sri CV Anand IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad made a surprise visit to Bharosa and She Teams facility to review the work being carried out.
In connection with this, CP Sir appreciated with work carried out by these two excellency centers headed by In-charge Smt. Sirisha Raghavendra DCP working under Sri AR Srininvas IPS, Addl CP (Crimes & SIT), Hyderabad.
CP Hyderabad further added that these centers are doing a commendable job for the last 6-7 years, especially Bharosa which is acting as one stop center for victims of heinous crimes against women such as rape, child sexual abuse and domestic violence. Bharosa center has provided as all under one roof to avoid need for victim under trauma run for pillar to post. The trust factor and confidentiality in handling the matter has been the hallmark of service rendered by Bharosa.
Also the SHE TEAMS which work incognito have been successful in ensuring the safety and security of women in Hyderabad by bringing many delinquents to the book and necessary corrective measures either by counselling as well booking e-petty cases and FIRs.
All the necessary inputs and next course of action to take the centers forward with respect to funds allocation for required logistics and other necessary infrastructure have been discussed.
