Gaita is a style of Venezuelan folk music from Maracaibo, province of Zulia. Gaita is associated with the November religious festivities in Zulia and continues through December, including Christmas and New Year's Eve. This genre makes extensive use of precision instruments.
I am from Maracaibo and therefore I really like to share a little of my culture with the people attending my classes. I also wish to inspire other instructors around the world to dance GAITA. It is a lot of fun.
