In 1955, the Swiss launched their new sniper rifle, the Zf. Kar. 55; a K31 styled straight pull rifle that had next to zero interchangeable parts with the K31. Since there were only around 4,150 rifles produced, these are quite rare worldwide, but regardless, we dissect the intricacies of the Swiss sniper rifle and sniper doctrine.
We'd like to thank the following for making this possible:
Jeff, the owner of this great example of the Zf. Kar. 55.
Ian from Forgotten Weapons for setting this up.
Mike and Dale from Bloke on the Range for working with us on the technical research and interviews.
Edelweiss Arms for sending the original Swiss GP11 ammunition.
