As a huge controversy erupted over Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's 'Rashtrapatni remark,' the Congress MP on Thursday wrote a letter to LS Speaker OM Birla to 'clarify the air in the unnecessary and unwanted parliamentary deadlock regarding Hon'ble President Madam Smt. Droupadi Murmu.' In his letter, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury further alleged Union Minister Smriti Irani of disrespecting President Droupadi Murmu in the parliament by 'yelling her name repeatedly without prefixing Hon'ble President.'
