In this video, I will be showing you how we do competitor research to find winning products to sell on eBay
Our principal here is to work efficiently, be accurate and set a high standard. We do this in 3 steps.
Step 1 - Identify selling opportunities
Step 2 - Validate product demand
Step 3 - Utilize your competitive advantage

I then go into extreme detail on how to do this, with live examples, analyzing Ali Express to eBay dropshippers, Walmart to eBay dropshippers and Amazon to eBay Dropshippers.

SO How do we analyze competitors, and why is it important?
Analyzing competitors allows us to gain insights into various things such as finding niche ideas or directly finding profitable products to sell. We have to always look at this through the lense of understanding if the product has demand and the competition isn't too hard.
To validate our ideas, we always look for high demand in the latest period, such as the last 7 days, the last 14 days and the last 30 days.

When it comes to having a competitive advantage, you can do this in a few ways such as:
- Having a price advantage
- Having an SEO advantage
- Having a shipping and returns advantage

To put this all in practice it would look like this.
1. Find a competitor that is using the same supplier as you are.
2. Analyze that competitor by looking at products with high demand and calculate profitability
3. Snipe their listings, targeting the high demand low comp listings.
4. Find niches and selling opportunities and again identify the high demand low comp opportunities and look for selling opportunities.

This might seem fairly complicated or time consuming, but once you get the hang of the process you will be a product research champion, finding profitable ebay dropshipping products to list on your store day in day out.
