Putting the 2022 Kawasaki KLX300R to the test on some fun hill climbs and revisiting some old, neglected trails that I haven't ridden in years. I even stumbled across a cool treehouse hidden in the woods! I also pulled out my handy Pocket Chainsaw to show it in action, it's a must-have for your pack!
When I'm not exploring trails in the bush, I've been enjoying 6th gear on the FSR's; quite pleased with the top speed of this bike! (Around 120km/h) Kawasaki set these bikes up with the perfect gearing as far as I'm concerned. Bear in mind that the transmission was not shifting smoothly on this ride because I had just installed some home-made aluminum guards to the sides of the engine, and the shift lever was rubbing on one. After the ride I made the necessary modifications to fix the issue. This bike is mechanically stock, but I will be adding some power mods for next year!
I'm riding at Hunters Range, located in the Okanagan, BC, Canada. The action camera is a GoPro Hero 8 with ProShot mount. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy the video! =)
