In this video we went over some basic info about the PDT rule and also some ways that you can get around it. We believe that the PDT rule does not help newer traders. It gives them the idea that they require this arbitrary amount of capital ($25k USD) in order to learn day trading and take risk in the markets. We used some examples with the 10YSME (Small Exchange) to show how a scalper would not be able to do business properly if they had to respect the PDT rule. In futures markets there is no PDT rule and the product we used in this video is an example of a product with a low capital requirement and a good starting point for newer traders.
