Incredible 1998 BBC World Cup Documentary of the Argentina vs England match entitled " Passion, Pride and Penalties." This was the fixture that featured THAT David Beckham red card moment which actually motivated him to a grander stellar career than even he could ever have imagined.
This was the unforgettable 2nd round knockout fixture that caused English fans to believe that they had finally found their very own Diego Maradona in the teenage sensation that was Michael Owen, and the Argentines to believe that the World Cup was destined to be theirs (before a certain Dennis Bergkamp put an end to that dream with an outrageous goal of pure fantasy in their next match [ Ссылка ] )
Featuring a stellar cast of world class talent that includes Gabriel Batistuta, Alan Shearer, Ariel Ortega, Javier Zanetti, Paul Scholes, Tony Adams, Juan Sebastian Veron and an incredible soundtrack to boot, this is truly another brilliant documentary by the BBC team that is a must watch.
