World class Fly fisherman Hywel Morgan has taken his long suffering wife Debbie to one of the most luxurious fishing lodges in Iceland called West Rangá to see if she can hook her first salmon.
West Ranga lodge has to be one of the most luxurious fishing lodges we have had the privilege of being a guest at, not only is it an idyllic setting, we have been told that the fishing here will also test the skill and stamina of any angler.
This river delivers more salmon per season then any other river in Iceland with over 5000 salmon caught last season. But the river has a lot more to offer then just impressive numbers! The amazing scenery, a multitude of variations in fishing pools all topped off with super fine dinning while looking out over the river. Making West Rangá a unique and intense fishing experience.
