Being a bit of a Tikka fan, my 50 year old Tikka LSA 55 in .308 Win is still toppling deer today it is always a treat to test any new rifle from this legendary Finnish firm. This goes especially for the new Camo version of the very popular Compact Tactical Rifle or CTR for short. This model is designed specially to cover all bases with regard your shooting/hunting/target needs. It is a blend of both sporter and tactical utilising the T3X action within a synthetic stock and varmint weight barrel.
You have a choice of calibres ranging from .223, .243, 260 Rem, 6.5CM 7mm -08, .308 Win or 6.5 PRC and the CTR sports a very useful ten shot magazine for prolonged shooting sessions. The full length Picatinny rail accommodates any scope one can imagine for your shooting style whilst the new camo pattern is a limited edition feature ensuring a stealth stalk. Options also include an adjustable cheekpiece if desired but we had the non adjustable on test but still has the usual T3X interchangeable forend and pistol grip features for personal customisation.
All in all along with Tikka`s undisputed ultra reliable and smooth bolt system this CTR rifle is a gun for all shooters and species/targets and available as a left or right handed version.
