Officer pulled over a female driver who had two passengers. She was pulled over for not signaling a turn 100 feet prior to turning. The exact statement by the cop was:
"It’s Arlington Police Department. The reason you’re being stopped today is you, uh, had your signal turned off when I got behind you. I know you turned if on before you turned. You gotta have it on 100 feet both prior to turn, ok?"
From there, the police officer allegedly smelled marijuana. He called for backup before asking everyone to step out of the car. When the victim was about to get patted down he ran. Cops shot him at least once in the back. Suspect shot back and injured a cop.
Background, according to news reports, victim was allegedly the getaway driver for a different incident, and that he was awaiting a drug possession hearing.
