I've been a Brown Belt since 2022 and also moved out to California to train. I will be bringing Gi Rolling/Sparring Video Breakdowns to the channel on a regular basis so stay tuned for more! I'm always looking to improve and what better way to do that than to post my rolls on the internet for people to watch and dissect. What could go wrong? lol

Rolling with Black Belt Jay has been some of the best and most technically sound rolling I've done in California. Jay always surprises me because he is a bigger guy that does small guy shit. He can invert on a dime, has some very sneaky Caio Terra foot locks and has the lapel game on lock. He has an answer for pretty much everything I have in my bag and counters me so fluently and effortlessly. Knowing that my goal was to maintain the distance and use shin weave passing, and tripod passing to get around his guard and keep him immobile. I also really enjoy narrated jiu-jitsu videos where you can follow my train of thought during the rolling/sparring.
