The top officer aboard the American aircraft carrier Theodore
Roosevelt said on Thursday (7/9) that NATO air strikes against
Bosnian Serb targets were likely to continue all day. Admiral Bill
Fallon told reporters that F-18 warplanes from the carrier hit
Serb sites at about 8:20 a.m. (0620 GMT).

roosevelt this morning. We continued throughout the day. We have a
mixture of airstrikes, close air support missions, air support
missions and suppression of enemy air defences. The weather has
been very very good here. Excellent, without a cloud in the sky.
it has been clearing up all day on land and that should help our
pilots in their -as they see their targets
