This version wa begging to be done as the MT32 versions of the theme really marry well with this fan video the Elite Dangerous Community have made. This is our Elite Dangerous remake of the Frontier Elite II Introduction sequence. Your pilots are Commanders Sharpshifter, Nosnai, Simmer & Vonner with Commander FuZion on the camera.
Expected Questions:-
⁃ Why oh why, didn’t you use the Courier? None of us owned a Courier, and although one pilot had the required rank, we just couldn't find one in a reasonable amount of time. The Clipper was the most similar ship we had available.
⁃ “X” scene isn’t exactly the same as the original, why not? We tried to match the intro as close as our skills would allow in the time available, but various limitations were met that meant it was quite difficult to get everything right (like the paranoid capital ship!). Also we wanted to be a little creative in places. After all, Elite Dangerous is beautiful, so lets show that off.
⁃ Can I have your autographs? Of course, send a large stamped address envelope to our PO Box address with a cheque payable to … ;)
