OPEN FACES FREERIDE SERIES 2022 –
Perfect conditions on the Wiedersberger Horn and an absolutely exceptional winning run with 3 backflips. That was the 1*FWQ / 2*FJT Stop Alpbachtal.

After a 2-year break, the Open Faces Series was back with the 1* FWQ and 2* FJT stop in the wonderful Alpbachtal and Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau. The conditions couldn't have been more perfect. After the enormous snowfalls of the past few weeks, another 10 cm of fresh snow fell before the contest day. On Wiedersberger Horn, both the juniors and the general adult classes demonstrated the enormous development of freeride sports. High-quality runs, a lot of airtime, backflips en masse and an absolute "moment of the day" with the winner in the men's ski category.
