Drivers heading over the Cascade passes Sunday into Monday morning will need to be prepared for more snow and the potential delays that come with it.
KOMO News Meteorologist Shannon O'Donnell said snow was still persistent near the passes Sunday night, and traversing the Cascades is expected to be tricky into Monday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for areas of the Cascades of Snohomish and King counties above 3,000 feet until 10 a.m. Monday. Additional snow accumulations of two to four inches were possible, creating the possibility of slippery travel conditions for drivers.
