A Class 11 student in Uttar Pradesh confessed to killing his mother after initially claiming her death was an accident. The boy pushed her during an argument, causing fatal injuries, but failed to seek medical help. Instead, he left for school, leaving her body at home for six days. The incident came to light when his father, an assistant scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, returned and discovered the decomposing body. The boy's initial lies unravelled after the autopsy revealed the truth.
