This is a quick introduction to the 110 Film format.
Introduced in 1972, 110 film cartridges were launched by Kodak in answer to consumer complaints about the complications involved with loading and unloading roll film cameras. Because loading film was easy and the small size made 110 format popular very quickly.
This is the least popular of film formats that are still being produced today, with Lomography being the most prominent producer these days. There are a handful of labs in the UK that process and scan them too.
The other popular and widely available film formats today are 35 mm, 120 and Large Format (sheet films). 110 is the only that can't be rewound by the user because there source side of the cartridge simply has a roll of fresh film with no spool in the middle that can be spun to pull the film backwards.
