Two arch rivals Olympiacos Piraeus and Panathinaikos Athens met in the Game of the Week with the third place in Group E at stake. Panathinaikos built a double-digit lead in the first half as Loukas Mavrokefalidis dominated, but Olympiacos rallied with a big third-quarter run. Game went down to the wire before the reigning MVP Vassilis Spanoulis took mater in his own hands, hitting a three-pointer with 0.5 seconds left to give Olympiacos a thrilling 68-65 come-from-behind victory.
