DIY Vertical Jigs And Putting Them To Work.
Since I got a little bitch spanked the day before vertical jigging the wrecks, I had to re-supple my jigs before I could head out for the day. I purchase bare jigs and then rig them myself in order to save money. I go through the decorating and rigging of the jigs so you can see how easy they are. The initial cost outlay is heavy, but the cost per jig is quite low comparative to buying manufactured jigs.
The day was a summer like, dead calm winds and seas making it for a fantastic fun day of fishing. The bite was a little tougher, but I was still pulling up fish regular enough that my arms were tired. I ended up taking another 4 Blackfin Tunas home for friends with a relaxing ride back home. Unfortunately, the weather was moving back in that evening so no more offshore days in the near future. Oh well, I got my fix for a little while.
