You might think it’s Hanuman Ji, but surprisingly, it’s Sugreeva. Hanuman Ji’s murthi is outside the temple, bowing down to them. Isn’t that rare to see? This temple marks the exact spot where Bhagwan Rama crowned Sugreeva as the king of Kishkinda after defeating Vali. Sugreeva then carved the vigrahas and built the temple here. It’s one of the oldest places of worship in Karnataka, dating back to the time of the Ramayana. Since God Rama is an avatar of God Vishnu, you can see Garuda Bhagawan Murthi in front of this temple.
