The Schluter® Shower System can be used with both pre-fabricated shower trays or with a mortar base. While the KERDI-SHOWER trays can be modified to fit and extended with dry pack mortar, oftentimes using a mortar base gives greater control in establishing a consistent perimeter elevation. This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of constructing a mortar base while installing a KERDI-DRAIN.
