This is one batch of roasting on my 5 Kg coffee roaster. I planned and built this machine 2014-2015. Since then it did 1300 batches from 1 to 5 kilos. It heats with electricity (3x 3kW on AC230V). It is connected to the roast software Artisan. Artisan has built in functions which can control a roasting machine semi automatic (and with some tricks it can talk to you!). This is also shown in the video.
There is still a lot of work left on Artisan configuration. The background curve is just a raw plot. What you do not see on the video is, that the repeatability of batches on this machine in connection to artisan and its automatic-features is really cool.
And please do not discuss the curve. It is one of my standard espresso curves for a Brasil Alta Mogiana, until some seconds before 2nd crack. Nothing kind of 3rd wave ;-)
