Galilee School is expanding with the opening of a $1.3 million building co-funded by the Commonwealth and Territory Governments. Federal Member for Bean, Mr David Smith MP and ACT MLA Dr Marisa Paterson opened the new building at the school’s Kambah campus on Tuesday 6 December 2022.

Galilee School is a registered independent secondary school supporting vulnerable young people in Years 7 to 12 for whom the mainstream schooling environment has struggled to deliver positive outcomes.

The new building minimises disruption to students and provides three general learning areas, administration spaces, meeting rooms, a student kitchen and bathroom facilities.
