WAPDA Introduction:
Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan which is maintaining the utilities of Water and Power in the state. It was established after the independence through an act of parliament in 1958
WAPDA owns the biggest dams of Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors. It is also planning on completing five more multi-dimensional dams to cover the growing needs of the power sector.
WAPDA’s goal is focused on developing neat and clean energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to bring down the power tariff keeping in view the consumers. The company has a self-governing network throughout the country.
The board offers an opportunity to work in the WAPDA and earn a healthy amount of money with free electricity, free schooling of the children, accommodation, medical coverages, and many more facilities.

The candidates must apply from all over the country however, the selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan. WAPDA is hiring Junior Engineer Electrical, Junior Engineer Mechanical, Junior Engineer Electronics, Security Inspector, Security Sergeant, Security Guard, and Lady Searcher.
Both male and female applicants are eligible for this recruitment. Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan quotas are briefly described in the WAPDA Career Advertisements.
The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of one year. Educational Degrees must be recognized by HEC Universities/Institutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
Desired individuals having B.E/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics Engineering may apply for WAPDA Junior Engineer Jobs. The age limit for Junior Engineer posts is 21 to 33 years.
Pakistan Army retired persons such as retired Subedar, Naib Subedar, Naik, Lance Naik, Havildar, and Soldiers may apply for Security Staff Jobs in Wapda.
