Driving in Italy on your Italian Holiday?
5 Tips You Need for an Italian Road Trip
If you’re considering an Italian road trip, here are our top tips you need to know before going!
1️⃣ Drive on the Right: Italians drive on the right side of the road. Keep that in mind if you're not a confident driver.
2️⃣ Choose the Right Car: Some Italian streets are very narrow, so a smaller car might be easier to navigate.
3️⃣ Budget for Tolls: Tolls can add up quickly. Expect to spend around 10-15 euros a day on tolls.
4️⃣ Check Car Rental Rules: Not all car rentals allow border crossing. Make sure to check this before you rent.
5️⃣ Plan Your Parking: Navigation in some small towns can be tricky, so have a parking plan ready.
